Charisma Carpenter

 Charisma Carpenter (born July 23 1970) is an American actor from America. [1] She played Cordelia Chase in the supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). She also played Kyra in Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas in Veronica Mars (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell in The Lying Game (2012-2013) as well as Lacy in The Expendables film series (2010-2012 ).

 



 

  Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada the daughter of Christine who is a bird sanctuary worker, and Don Carpenter, a salesman. Carpenter is of Spanish (from her maternal grandfather), French, and German descent. Carpenter was an undergraduate at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. [6] She was also part of a song and dance troupe which was in the Las Vegas Valley when Carpenter was just nine years old.

 



 

  When Carpenter was 15, her family moved to Rosarito Beach, Baja California Mexico[2] and later to San Diego, California. She went to Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. [2][failed verification] Following graduation, Carpenter traveled throughout Europe. After returning to San Diego, she worked as a video store clerk as well as an aerobics instructor as well as in property management. In 1991, she was a cheerleader with the San Diego Chargers. In 1992, she relocated from San Diego to Los Angeles.

 



 

  Henry Hubbard Jr. was a former San Diego officer and serial criminal who tried to control her and two male acquaintances while they were swimming in San Diego in 1991. Her friends as well as Hubbard were killed during the fight. Hubbard fled the scene but both her companions were able to escape. Hubbard was convicted and sentenced to 56 year imprisonment for a series of rapes, robberies. Carpenter brought Hubbard his flashlight from the police station to the beach. This flashlight proved crucial evidence against Hubbard.

 



 

  Carpenter was named No. Carpenter was No. 31 on AskMen's top 99 desirable women 2002[30[30. 44 on their 2005 list. Carpenter stated that she doesn't consider herself a sexual symbol however she does consider herself a sex symbol. Carpenter was on the cover of Playboy magazine's June issue in 2004. She also appeared in a ten-page naked graphic. People magazine asked her 2005 to pose for Playboy. Playboy was something I did to serve a particular purpose. Not only was it an excellent financial decision however, it was also about the place I was at within my life. I was just having my son and had gained 50 pounds during my pregnancy. I wanted to return to my old self. I wanted to look beautiful and attractive. I was thinking: "What if you went full throttle?"
